    Valley of Temples
    This is a unique cemetery located just outside of Kaneohe. Built in 1968, the Valley of Temples is the resting place for Christians, as well as Buddhists. A church is placed on the left hills, while a Buddhist temple is located inside the valley.

    National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific
    Situated in the middle of Puowaina Crater, the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific or "Punchbowl" opened in 1949 to the fourth anniversary of V-J Day. The cemetery is dedicated to the soldiers killed at Pearl Harbor, the Korean War and World War II.

    Royal Mausoleum
    The Royal Mausoleum, also known as Mauna 'Ala, is considered to be the most sacred burial ground in Oahu. This is a three-acre site that serves as the resting place for royalty such as King Kamehameha II through V, King Kalakaua, and Queen Liliuokalani. A small chapel can be found in the center of the cemetery. This site is open Monday through Friday with free admission.
