    Polynesian Cultural Center

    This cultural center receives over one million visitors annually and is the second most visited attraction of Oahu. The center was established by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and is intended to preserve the cultural heritage of Polynesia. Tours are available. Located in the center is an IMAX theater.

    Falls of Clyde
    The Falls of Clyde is the only surviving, four-masted sailing ship left in the world. It was built in 1878 in Scotland before sailing all over the Pacific. The ship arrived in Hawaii in 1899 and was later entered into the National Register of Historic Places. The Falls of Clyde can be viewed at Honolulu Harbor, as part of of the Hawaii Maritime Center.

    Goat Island
    This pancake shaped lava rock is located a few yards off the coast of the Malaikahana Recreation Area. Although the center of the island is restricted to birds raising their young, the surrounding waters prove great for snorkeling. Tide pools and three sandy beaches with coral formation and shallow water are just some of its highlights.

    Chinaman's Hat
    Chinaman's Hat is a cone shaped outcropping of lava off Kualoa Point. This small island can be seen from a number of vantage points along the coast, however for the best view, one must go to the island directly via kayak. This island features an exclusive beach, small cave, a steep volcanic cone and marvelous views of the Koolau Mountains.

    Manana Island
    Manana Island sits on the Windward side of Oahu, north of Makapu'u Point. This island is also known as Rabbit Island because of its rabbit-like shape and residency of many of the furry creatures. Manana Island can be seen from several beaches along the coast, as well as from Makapu'u Point.

    Fort DeRussy
    Located on Waikiki Beach, Fort DeRussy was an Army reservation built in 1915 to protect Honolulu and Pearl Harbor. Today this fort pays tribute to all branches of the United Stated Armed Services. This fort is one of five Fort DeRussy in the United States. A museum housed inside an old coastal artillery battery is also on-site.
